Olympus may not cover as many categories as Nikon and Canon, but what Olympus offers, they do with flair. Olympus is one of our favorite mirrorless brands, competing tightly with Fujifilm, and offers our favorite waterproof camera line. The OM-D mirrorless line is geared more towards serious enthusiasts and professionals, while the PEN options are a bit less full featured, but offer more portability.
Olympus has long been at the top of the rankings for waterproof cameras, as one of the first to add a bright f/2.8 lens--a big plus for shooting underwater. They've continued to impress however, and now even offer RAW shooting on their latest flagship rugged camera.
Olympus tends to impress--here's the Olympus cameras on the market right now.
